Buck Fever Cabin Policy

You are responsible for the cleaning during your stay and for leaving the cabin in good condition. Please remember that you are staying in a "privately owned cabin" and treat it as you would want your guests to treat your our own home. If accommodations are left damaged or unusually messy (such as unwashed dishes or stains on the furniture or carpet), an additional $80 cleaning charge will be added to your credit card after your departure. Items in the cabin found missing or broken will be charged accordingly.

  • Our pet policy varies per cabin. Look for the happy puppy online for our pet-friendly cabins.
  • The maximum number of pets allowed per cabin is 2 pets. Please do not allow your pets to be on the furniture and crate your pets when you are away from the cabin. Do not allow your dog to chew the furniture - $100 minimum fee will be charged for damages - $50 minimum fee will be charged for excessive pet hair, etc. on the furniture.
  • Please do not place trash outside the cabin unless it is tightly secured inside a barrel with a lid.
  • All cabins are all smoke free. If your cabin smells of cigarette smoke, a $100 cleaning fee will apply.
  • We can accept no responsibility for losses or accidents occurring during your stay. Every effort will be made to secure and make safe all facilities under our management.
  • All cabins are surveyed upon check-out. Damaged or missing items will be billed to your credit card.
  • A two-night minimum stay is required on weekends. A three-night minimum stay is required during holidays and Spring Break weeks.
  • A valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) must accompany all reservations.
  • A $50 non-refundable deposit will apply on all reservations requested.
  • The balance of your stay will be charged to your card approximately 14 days prior to your arrival.
  • Rates are based on the number of people the cabin sleeps comfortably - listed on the website. Our cabins are only equipped (the sewage systems, linens, towels, dishes, etc.) to handle this number of people. The absolute maximum number of total persons allowed at each cabin is 2 people over this number, including all children.
  • A $25 per person, per night charge applies for up to 2 extra people. Additional extra people are not allowed in the cabin. This includes daytime-only visitors in excess of 10 people. Additional rental cabins within walking distance are available.
  • Cancellations within 14 days prior to your arrival date are required to pay a 1-night stay - unless you re-book the same cabin to arrive within 30 days of your original reservation.
  • Cancellations within 1 week prior to your arrival date will be charged for your entire stay - unless you re-book the same cabin to arrive within 30 days of your original reservation.
  • To receive a full refund (less a $50 handling fee) you must provide a 30-day notice & your request must be made by telephone.
